Follow up on my previous review regarding our 1996 Newmar Dutch Star. After being in the shop for inspection and repair on the exhaust system, we took our trip that was delayed because they did not have it done in a timely manner. while gone we had major issue. We took it to another repair shop and they said whoever fixed that exhaust did not do It correctly or just did a bad job. We do not trust West auto to do these repairs and they will not do anything to help with covering cost of their bad job. They will only allow us to bring back to them. Should have done more research BEFORE taking our Rv to this company. As to the response from the owner to my previous post, it was 7 days (not immediately) that our RV was looked, and 8 days when we received the estimate. Then it was another 10 days before we had it in our possession...the afternoon we left and we were suppose to have left 7am that morning. That is the timeline. Your shop scheduled for us to bring it in on a Monday, thinking since it was a scheduled time it would be looked at that day. We didn’t hear from your shop. We called to find out what was going on.

I am a little late in writing this review, but better late than never. The people at West Service Center in Chesapeake have always given me their best service. The towing department made sure my care was in the best of hands. When ever I needed a state inspection, they were there for me. My car had some serious issues this last time and they made sure I knew what I need to have done. They even treated me as a knowledgeable owner! In my book that is a 5 star in it's self! JOB WELL DONE!!!

Bought an motorhome that wouldn't move. They got it rolling towed to their shop.repaired EVERYTHING... Highly recommend

I got stood up by three towing companies yesterday and finally the right company came on time with great service. The driver was very friendly and he did a great job. Thank you Scott.

Just calling to ask price to have led third brake light disconnected and covered so the vehicle can be inspected. Have already been advised that by law it can be removed it would just have to be disconnected and blacked out. Individual answer the phone who tried to tell me that it had to be inspected with the light in and working informed him of the law even wanted to tell me to bring it up to have one of his inspectors look at it why would I waste my time. Familiarize yourself with the state laws.

Hi Denise, we can assure you that we are very familiar with motor vehicle laws and operate in full compliance with state and local laws, as well as the Virginia State Police Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection Manual. Per VA CODE 19VAC30-7-190 (pgs 67-68), your vehicle inspection would be rejected due to an inoperable 3rd brake light. When it comes to both safety and Virginia state law, we cannot make any exceptions. Amasing. At first I was not the nicest customer... i was seeking service because of a previous RV company did not do the job right. I came off very defensive. They were very friendly understanding. THEY DID AN AMAZING JOB!! Fixing past mistakes and rewired my RV. They deserve 10 stars. They are professional, knowledgeable and really take care of their customers.

Larry is great!!! We had a tire that we just could no get off. We called west towing and Larry came out and he was determined to help us. He got the tire off in a few minutes even though the lugs were stripped. He was very Informative and very nice.

Kyle was my driver. Excellent service. Would rate a 5 except the company didn't communicate without my inquiring that there was an additional 1.5 hours added to my wait time. Not fun with 4 kids but overall decent experience.

My car decided to act up on me on my drive to work this morning, so I drove back home and immediately contacted my insurance company to have my car towed to the shop. I was given an ETA of FOUR HOURS, which is absurd itself, but I figured I could preoccupy myself in the meantime. The ETA time comes and goes, so I call this company to see what the deal was, in which I was told "oh yeah I had to send the driver somewhere else for an emergency call, he should be there in another hour." ?!?!?! At no point did it cross their mind "I should probably inform the woman who has been waiting 4 hours that she'll have to wait even longer." If I would have known I would have requested a new towing company sooner or taken the risk to drive to the shop my damn self. Customer service is good, but you guys are real assholes for not letting people know if the driver will not make it at the promised time.
