Just calling to ask price to have led third brake light disconnected and covered so the vehicle can be inspected. Have already been advised that by law it can be removed it would just have to be disconnected and blacked out. Individual answer the phone who tried to tell me that it had to be inspected with the light in and working informed him of the law even wanted to tell me to bring it up to have one of his inspectors look at it why would I waste my time. Familiarize yourself with the state laws.

Hi Denise, we can assure you that we are very familiar with motor vehicle laws and operate in full compliance with state and local laws, as well as the Virginia State Police Motor Vehicle Safety Inspection Manual. Per VA CODE 19VAC30-7-190 (pgs 67-68), your vehicle inspection would be rejected due to an inoperable 3rd brake light. When it comes to both safety and Virginia state law, we cannot make any exceptions. If you have any questions please reach out to us and we would be more than happy speak to you further about this matter.

We took our RV in for inspection and service. It is an older RV and we knew there needed to be repairs. We took it in and it has been over 2 weeks and they still haven't finished. They didn't even start working on it until after a week. We scheduled to take it in on a certain day. Why did they not get on it that very day we had scheduled to take it in. The entire purpose for taking it in when we did was because we had a camping trip scheduled with our family from the midwest. The day we were suppose to leave they still hadn't finished by noon. If they would have been on top of it from the beginning we would not have had to go through so much UNDO stress trying to rearrange our trip. It is hard for us to get away because of working out schedules for someone to stay with our special needs adult son. Very disappointed in there service. If you want something done in a timely manner. This isn't the place. Follow up on my previous review regarding our 1996 Newmar Dutch Star. After being in the shop for inspection and repair on the exhaust system, we took our trip that was delayed because they did not have it done in a timely manner. while gone we had major issue. We took it to another repair shop and they said whoever fixed that exhaust did not do It correctly or just did a bad job. We do not trust West auto to do these repairs and they will not do anything to help with covering cost of their bad job. They will only allow us to bring back to them. Should have done more research BEFORE taking our Rv to this company. As to the response from the owner to my previous post, it was 7 days (not immediately) that our RV was looked, and 8 days when we received the estimate. Then it was another 10 days before we had it in our possession...the afternoon we left and we were suppose to have left 7am that morning. That is the timeline. Your shop scheduled for us to bring it in on a Monday, thinking since it was a scheduled time it would be looked at that day. We didn’t hear from your shop. We called to find out what was going on.

Cheryl, we strive to give excellent customer service to every customer, we are sorry that your recent visit with us was less than satisfactory and apologize for any plans that needed to be changed. We were able to work on your RV right away when you brought it in, however after we diagnosed the problem, we needed to get an estimate together, discuss with you, and then order the parts needed. We stayed in constant communication with you through every step of the repair, and found that during the process extra parts were needed thus taking more time than we originally anticipated.

After reading some of the other reviews I had to add my own experience. Several years ago we took our pickup truck for a state inspection. After what seemed like forever, I watched the mechanic go to the window and tell them, he couldnt find Anything wrong. The reply was....Nothing!! He replied no except Maybe the bolt was missing on the battery securement strap. We told them it 'was' on there before but go ahead and put one on. Cost??? $6.00 for a bolt and $32.00 to tighten it on!!! Really??Also, I have seen their wreckers towing vehicles without the proper light tow bars attached. The wrecker lights are Not visable on the wrecker becouse of the equipment being towed so the person behind them has no idea if they are turning, changing lanes or stopping. Wonder what DOT would say about this??

Karen, we are unable to comment on your specific situation because do not have record of your visit in our system within the last 25 years. We value our customers trust and satisfaction which is why we take reviews like yours very seriously. Our inspector has been with our company for 15 years and values his state inspector license as our owner does with the station license and they would never intentionally mislead our customers for the sake of a sale. As for our tow vehicles, all employees are trained to use light bars when towing behind a wheel lift truck or heavy duty tow truck. It is also the law to use a light bar when towing with wheels on the ground. If one of our drivers are found not using the light bar, disciplinary action will follow. We would like to hear more about your situation, please give us a call at (757)487-4420.

Went to W. Service Center today after getting a flat tire on the highway. Put my spare on in the rain and went to W. Service Center and ask them to repair my tire. It was 3:50 PM and they refused me service because they were about to close! Very disappointed and very dissatisfied. I do not recommend their repair shop. Your car might require too much work or it might just be inconvenient for them to fix, bottom line the customer is not a priority especially when it affects their time off.

Hi Ric, we appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we weren't able to service your vehicle during our regular business hours. We had mentioned that if you were willing to drop your vehicle off, we would've been able to service your vehicle right away on the morning of the next business day. We are sorry to hear that this didn't work with your schedule. If you would like to speak to us more about this situation, please reach out to us at (757) 487-4420 and we'd be more than happy to speak with you.

It's just ok at best. Would have given more stars except they have been upselling their state inspections and starting to charge extraordinarily high prices on simple jobs. Been nailed 2 straight years on windshield wipers. First year I let it go but this year I checked and tested and worked just fine with no streaks. They claimed they were old and wouldn't pass. When I asked for it back after replacing they "LOST" it. They ended up giving me someone else's which actually looked good also. So I guess this is a cash cow they like to claim to pad the state inspection fees. Be cautious when going there as with all repair shops. They rip you off every chance they get. I also went there to get a sensor tightened as I didn't have the tool needed to tighten properly. $60 for a 5 minute job!!! Rip off!!!! Use to be a good place but as with all, new people tarnish it. My Response >> The sensor was on an Impala and was my daughters car and the Vibe was mine but wife took it in.

Kevin, we are truly sorry your experience was less than satisfactory. However, we are unable to find you in our system with the name provided, and do not recall your situation. We would like to make things right, but do need more information. Please give us a call at (757)487-4420.

You entrust them that the car is repaired when they call you to come and pick it up And when you dropped the vehicle off your car wasn't making any noise ( i.e. belt especially after the alternator and battery were changed by them several months beforehand You're called It's READY However a simple flush fill radiator sys when you have them replace your thermostat hoses and have a regular oil change Turns into ALL the antifreeze is on the ground when you ARRIVE SO THEY Have to keep it another day Pick it up drive for the weekend Noise sounds like belt\ alternator Then Oil spots under the car after being parked Temp gauge rises HAVE it towed back they claim its fixed and acknowledged that the first drop off no noise from the car they don't understand why it's making noise now REPLACE thermostat again ...👎 👎 👎 👎

Hailey, we truly apologize for the frustrating experience you had. We want to ensure you that this situation is not being taken lightly and we are working hard to make sure a similar situation does not happen in the future. We value our customers, and would like to make things right. Our owner will be reaching out to you in regards to your experience.

Kyle was my driver. Excellent service. Would rate a 5 except the company didn't communicate without my inquiring that there was an additional 1.5 hours added to my wait time. Not fun with 4 kids but overall decent experience.
